We are recruiting for an Associate / Senior Associate to join our pre-eminent Real Estate Group. The Group, which is renowned nationally and internationally, advises across the complete spectrum of property-related matters. We are particularly known for acting on the most significant, complex, high value deals and work collaboratively with specialists across the firm to ensure all of our clients’ requirements are met to the highest of standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will be part of a team working on innovative deals at the leading edge of real estate practice. You will have an opportunity to work on the full range of practice areas, including:

• Traditional work for institutional clients (Irish and international) such as purchase, sale and refinancing, letting, joint ventures, as well as gaining leading experience in landlord and tenant matters;
• Mandates involving close collaboration with our market-leading construction practice, on substantial developments of offices, multi-use schemes and projects;
• Working with our market-leading real estate finance team, acting for banks and non-bank lenders and borrowers on a range of transactions;
• Advising on newer asset classes in new sectors, such as student accommodation, private rented sector (PRS) and health care;
• Working as part of wider teams within the firm on significant projects in the green energy space;
• Mentoring Trainees and Associates.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• A team player attitude;
• Extensive experience in commercial real estate.

Education

The successful candidate will have:

• Be qualified as a solicitor (2+ years PQE) in Ireland, or England and Wales and;
• Have an excellent academic background.
