Corporate Authority

In this session, Paul Heffernan discussed the corporate authority required to approve the creation and execution of contracts, concentrating on Irish companies. The discussion considered relevant provisions in the Companies Act 2014 on directors’ authority and matters such as powers of attorney, the common seal, drafting board minutes and the developing practice of e-signatures.
