Mark spent over 6 years in London working for Slaughter and May and Ropes & Gray LLP. His extensive experience gained in both London and Ireland spans leveraged and acquisition financing, syndicated and investment grade financing, unitranche financing, mezzanine financing, fund financing, public takeovers and take privates, asset-backed lending, restructurings, real estate and development financing, sustainable financing and derivatives.

Key highlights include advising:

  • Irish Residential Properties REIT plc in connection with its up to €650m revolving credit facilities
  • Hammerson PLC in connection with its €350m refinancing of Dundrum Town Centre
  • Kerry Co-Operative Creameries in connection with financing its acquisition of Kerry Dairy Ireland from Kerry Group plc
  • Various lending syndicates in connection with (i) €450m working capital facilities to Glenveagh Homes and (ii) €400m working capital facilities to Cairn Homes plc (iii) a £300m revolving credit facility to Greencore Group plc and (iv) €430m working capital facilities to Bord na Móna plc
  • Ares in connection with financing Exponent’s acquisition of Chanelle Pharma
  • A lending syndicate in connection with financing Valley Healthcare in support of a portfolio of existing primary healthcare centres
