McCann FitzGerald Advises Air Core on its Investment in EasyGo
In conjunction with Carson McDowell in Belfast, McCann FitzGerald was pleased to advise Air Core on its equity investment in Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator EasyGo.
EasyGo has secured an additional €15 million funding from backers including Air Core, to extend its EV network in the Republic and expand into Northern Ireland. The additional equity will see 500 rapid chargers rolled out at retail, town centre and hospitality locations, thus helping address the charge infrastructure deficit across the island. This is important as the numbers of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids on Irish roads increase on foot of Government climate change policies and growing consumer demand.
