McCann FitzGerald advises on financing for King Digital Entertainment acquisition

We are advising Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs on the provision of a US$2.3 billion term loan for the part financing of the proposed, recommended acquisition of King Digital Entertainment plc – maker of Candy Crush Saga® - by Activision Blizzard, Inc., by means of a scheme of arrangement under Irish law. The consideration payable values the entire issued and to be issued share capital of King Digital Entertainment at approximately US$5.9 billion.
