McCann FitzGerald advises Pollen Street Capital on its investment in BidX1
We advised UK-based private equity house Pollen Street Capital on its investment in BidX1, the Irish-headquartered digital property company specialising in online auctions.
BidX1 has developed a secure digital platform that allows users to buy or sell property online from anywhere in the world, on any device. Since the establishment of BidX1 in 2011, it has sold over 8,000 assets, raising more than €1.4bn. It employs 70 people between Ireland and Britain and hopes to see that rise to 100 over the next six months. The investment by Pollen Street Capital will help the development of BidX1’s business, including its planned expansion into Southern Europe and South Africa.
