McCann FitzGerald LLP appoints Stephen Tallon as Partner in Corporate Transactions Group
We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Tallon as a Partner in our Corporate Transactions Group, strengthening the firm’s international capabilities in venture capital and technology.

Currently based in London, Stephen will join the firm’s UK office later this year before relocating to Dublin in mid-2026. He brings more than eight years of international experience advising high-growth companies, founders and investors across the full corporate lifecycle.
Stephen joins McCann FitzGerald from another international firm, where he worked extensively with clients across Europe and the US on a wide range of financing rounds, exits and strategic transactions.

Stephen Tallon was named a ‘Recommended Individual for Venture Capital’ in Legal 500’s 2026 rankings, reflecting his reputation for strategic, commercially focused advice to clients navigating complex growth, investment and M&A activity.
His appointment follows a series of senior hires across the firm this year, bringing the total number of partners to 98, with recent additions in competition, technology and knowledge management.
