Greencoat Renewables acquisition of Donegal wind farm
We advised Greencoat Renewables on its first acquisition of a merchant wind farm, the Beam Hill windfarm (14MW) in Co Donegal for €10.5m. The acquisition was funded by the company’s €380m credit facility and brings its portfolio of operational wind assets to 461MW.
Greencoat has recently indicated its willingness for further merger and acquisition opportunities in Ireland saying that it remains "an attractive location" for investment in wind assets.
