McCann FitzGerald acted for the Asia Pulp and Paper Group in restructuring US$1billion of debt
McCann FitzGerald advised the Asia Pulp and Paper Group (“APP Group”), an Indonesian paper and pulp manufacturer and distributor, on the successful use of a novel and never-before used scheme of arrangement procedure under the Irish Companies Act 2014 to successfully restructure US $1.038 billion of debt.
The US Bankruptcy Court granted recognition of the scheme under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code.
