McCann FitzGerald Advises Ballytherm on its Sale to Xtratherm
We are advising Ballytherm, a manufacturer of flexible-faced rigid PIR insulation boards, and its owners, Brendan and Siobhan Cosgrove and Gerry and Gemma Reilly, on the sale of its Irish and UK operations to Unilin-owned Xtratherm.
Ballytherm was founded in 2002 and started manufacturing at a purpose built plant in Co. Cavan in September 2003. In 2019, Ballytherm acquired a 15 acre site together with a 257,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire UK, which is also included in the sale. The sale, which is subject to receipt of customary regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed later this year.
