McCann FitzGerald Advises Cellnex Telecom S.A (Cellnex) on its Acquisition of 3 Ireland’s Towers Business
Spanish company Cellnex is Europe’s leading operator of wireless telecommunications and broadcasting infrastructures. McCann FitzGerald is very pleased to have advised Cellnex on its acquisition from CK Hutchison of 3 Ireland’s towers business, comprising 2,399 Irish telecommunication sites.
The acquisition is one of six related transactions (valued in total at €10 billion) whereby Cellnex has added c.24,600 European telecommunication sites to its portfolio.
The Irish acquisition is expected to complete in 2021 following satisfaction of formal closing conditions.
