McCann FitzGerald advises Greencoat Renewables in Acquisition of Lisdowney Wind Farm
We advised Greencoat Renewables (Greencoat) on its acquisition of Lisdowney wind farm for €22.5m. Lisdowney is a 9.2MW wind farm located in Co. Kilkenny and its revenue is contracted under the Renewable Energy Feed-in-Tariff 2 scheme until 2031. Greencoat Renewables have said the final purchase price will depend on actual energy production over an 18-month period.
The acquisition of Lisdowney wind farm is in line with Greencoats strategy of acquiring high-quality wind farms in the Republic of Ireland.
