McCann FitzGerald advises London Energy Fund Gore Street on 160 MW Portfolio in Ireland
Gore Street is a London-based energy fund who recently acquired 51pc of a 160 mega watt portfolio in Ireland. The acquisition is funded by a possible share placing of €56m and investments totalling €35m.
Alex O’Cinneide, CEO of Gore Street Capital, the company’s investment adviser, is quoted in an article in the Independent as saying “the investment in the Irish projects will represent one of Europe’s largest energy storage acquisitions and one of the largest of its kind this year globally.”
