McCann FitzGerald advises Union Investment in relation to the acquisition of Carrowleagh Wind Farm

We acted for UniInstitutional Infrastruktur SICAV-SIF, a fund managed by Union Investment, which is the investment arm of DZ Bank, in relation to the acquisition of Powercon Wind Energy Limited for approximately €70m from Aeropower Wind Energy Limited. Powercon is the owner of Carrowleagh Wind Farm, a 36.8MW operational wind farm located on the border of Mayo and Sligo.
