McCann FitzGerald announces new partner Gary McSharry to join the firm’s Corporate Group
Premier Irish law firm McCann FitzGerald announced today that Gary McSharry is to join the firm as a partner in its Corporate Group. The group has already added six partners since 2012.
Mr. McSharry will join from a major Irish law firm where he has been a corporate partner since 2010, during which time he spent three years in their New York office. He advises on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters and brings with him significant experience in the areas of M&A, corporate finance, joint ventures and restructurings. In recent years he has acted for leading Irish and international public and private companies across a range of business sectors.
Commenting on the appointment Barry Devereux, Managing Partner of McCann FitzGerald, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gary to the firm. With his experience and track record, we know he will be an excellent addition to our market leading corporate practice.”
Mr. Devereux added: “Like all successful businesses, we are shaped by the demands of our clients and their strategic and commercial imperatives. We have added seven new partners to this group since 2012. As a result, we can now offer our clients even greater expert and experienced advice to help them achieve their goals.”
