The event brought together privacy professionals, in-house counsel and industry experts to explore key developments in data protection and digital regulation.
The keynote address was delivered by Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, who shared insights on upcoming EU digital legislation and policy developments.
Sessions throughout the day addressed the intersection of AI and data protection, practical lessons from personal data breaches and the role of privacy professionals in deploying AI within a legal framework. Attendees also heard from Cathal Ryan, Deputy Commissioner at the Data Protection Commission, and Dr Des Hogan, Commissioner for Data Protection, on regulatory expectations and priorities.
The programme provided a valuable opportunity for discussion and knowledge-sharing, and we would like to thank the speakers and attendees for contributing to a successful event.
