McCann FitzGerald LLP wins ‘European Litigation Team of the Year’ award at The Lawyer European Awards 2025

This prestigious accolade recognises the firm’s work with the landmark SMBC Aviation Capital ruling. McCann Fitzgerald advised on its agreement with Sumitomo Corporation, Apollo and Brookfield to acquire Air Lease Corporation.

The win demonstrates the firm’s outstanding achievements in complex, high-stakes litigation across Europe and its commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients.

The firm was also shortlisted for ‘Law firm of the year: Republic of Ireland’ and ‘European Corporate Team of the Year’ for its work advising Kerry Co-operative.

In the last year, McCann FitzGerald LLP has worked on a number of very high-profile Irish and international transactions, including advising Fineco Asset Management on the establishment and launch of one of Ireland’s first liquid, retail ELTIFs. It also played a key role on the launch off Titan Aviation Leasing’s US$410 million freighter aircraft investment joint venture platform with Bain Capital.
