In this session, Paul Heffernan and Ray Hunt considered some of the COVID-19-related challenges faced by companies in maintaining corporate governance standards and in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act. This included the laws on directors’ and members’ meetings and the temporary (helpful) provisions for the interim period specified in recent legislation. Paul and Ray discussed companies’ year-end obligations and the imminent new CRO filing system.
