McCann FitzGerald advises Coillte on its JV with ESB
McCann FitzGerald advised Coillte (Ireland’s largest landowner, forestry and energy semi-State) on its formal agreement with another major Irish energy business, ESB, for the creation of a 50:50 joint venture focused on developing a pipeline of renewable energy facilities in Ireland.
Our role included advising on all regulatory aspects (including competition law and procurement), legal structure and on all corporate and commercial transaction documentation. The transaction is subject to competition law and other clearances and is expected to close in Q1 of 2020.
