McCann FitzGerald LLP Advises Apollo Global Management on the Sale of Tullahennel Wind Farm to Greencoat Renewables
McCann FitzGerald LLP has advised funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, a leading global alternative investment manager, on the sale of 37MW Tullahennel Wind Farm in County Kerry, to Greencoat Renewables.
The acquisition raises Greencoat Renewables’ total installed capacity to 837MW. The wind farm consists of 13 GE 2.85MW turbines that have been operational since September 2018, with revenues contracted under the REFIT 2 scheme providing a long-term guaranteed minimum floor price for the electricity generated until December 2032. The acquisition completed on 15 February 2022.
