McCann FitzGerald LLP advises SKY Leasing in connection with its acquisition and financing of twelve Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft

We are pleased to have advised SKY Leasing in connection with its acquisition of twelve (12) Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft from certain secured financiers. We also advised SKY Leasing in connection with the entry into of a US$300 million acquisition facility with Natixis S.A., New York Branch (as lead structuring agent, underwriter and mandated lead arranger) and MUFG Bank, Ltd. (as co-structuring agent and mandated lead arranger), the proceeds of which were used to part-finance the acquisition of these aircraft.  The aircraft were previously on lease to Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and had been managed by ORIX Aviation Systems Limited since their return.
