McCann FitzGerald LLP advises TirNua on the establishment of their new private markets business and the formation of their first fund
We were delighted to partner with the TirNua team on the establishment of their new private markets business and the formation of their first fund.
The fund will invest in growth-stage infrastructure for a low-carbon future and in sectors critical to decarbonisation and resilience. At least 60% of the fund's investments are expected to support Irish-based businesses and infrastructure projects. A total of €340m has been committed to the fund by cornerstone investors, ISIF, Canada Life and Irish Life. The investment focus of the fund will include renewable power, energy efficiency, renewable fuels, clean transportation, and other supporting infrastructure.
