McCann FitzGerald LLP advises Sisk on acquisition of Farrans Construction from CRH

We are delighted to have advised long-standing McCann FitzGerald LLP client, Sisk, on its agreement to acquire Farrans Construction, a leading building and civil engineering contractor headquartered in Northern Ireland, from CRH plc. The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approval.

McCann FitzGerald LLP acted as lead transaction counsel for Sisk on its agreement to acquire Farrans Construction, a Northern Ireland-based building and civil engineering contractor which delivers complex infrastructure projects in Ireland and the UK across sectors including aviation, water and renewable energy.

Sisk is Ireland’s largest construction and civil engineering company, operating in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Farrans Construction will continue to trade under its existing brand, and its acquisition, subject to regulatory approval, will further broaden Sisk’s sectoral reach across the UK and Ireland.
